Futurama: Scripting HELP!

Almost finished next section! It's about 1 day away from being finished and then after that its a few weeks work to the ENTIRE animation being finished. Yes, all 586 individual drawings, which is a lot considering many frames take two/three days to complete.
But: Need help with Action Script 3
No idea how to use it whatsoever; could do some good stuff back on Flash 8 but i'm using Action Script 3 and would love some help on:
-A play button
-A URL link
-A slideshow of about 20 pictures with next/previous options
I've already got a working preloader but my attempts with other options have resulted in a lot of error messages. If I can get the tricky stuff like this sorted then when the animation's finished I'll be able to upload it straight away, and give you a credit for your help of course.
